Our Mission
Chef Empowerment is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved youth through culinary vocational training. We provide hands-on kitchen education, life skills development, and direct pathways to employment in the food service industry — giving young people the tools they need to build a sustainable future.
Meet Executive Chef Carl Watts
Chef Carl Watts brings decades of professional culinary experience and a deep passion for community service. As the founder of Chef Empowerment, he has dedicated his career to mentoring mentoring youth, teaching them not just how to cook, but how to thrive. His vision: every young person deserves a seat at the table.
Grassroots Provision & Relief Kitchen
Our newest program serves community relief meals to families battling food insecurities — and mobilizes as a rapid-response kitchen during major disasters.
